Program Information

The Alabama Mechanical Contractors Association (AMCA) offers a comprehensive HVAC apprenticeship program designed to prepare individuals for careers in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration. The apprenticeship combines structured classroom instruction with paid, on-the-job training provided through partnering mechanical contractors across Alabama. Students learn how to install, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC systems used in residential, commercial, and industrial facilities.

Hands-On Training
