Program Information
Alliance Group is seeking a full-time Electrical Apprentice based in Essex Junction, Vermont to support its growing electrical and building automation operations across New England. Training & Career Path
Electrical Apprentices work directly under experienced electricians and participate in structured on-the-job training while maintaining apprenticeship logbooks. Key Responsibilities
Assist senior electricians with electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting across a variety of systems. Install and terminate devices, run conduit, pull wire, and assemble electrical equipment using hand and power tools.
Additional responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing electrical issues under supervision, selecting appropriate tools and materials for tasks, maintaining apprenticeship documentation, and ensuring job sites remain clean and compliant with safety standards.
Work Environment
This role is performed on active job sites and may involve indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Apprentices must be comfortable climbing ladders and scaffolding, lifting materials, and performing physically demanding tasks while following all company safety and PPE requirements.
Program Requirements
- Electrical or construction experience preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- U.S. citizenship or valid U.S. work authorization
- Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle check, and post-offer physical exam
