Program Information
The Carpenter Apprenticeship Program in New Jersey is a 4-year program that equips students with the skills to become skilled carpenters. Apprentices work on a variety of projects, including framing, roofing, cabinetry, and finish work. The training includes both classroom education and hands-on, on-the-job experience. Apprentices learn to read blueprints, handle materials, and operate carpentry tools safely. They are also trained in safety practices and building codes.
Upon completion, graduates are prepared for work in residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects.

4 years (includes 8,000 hours of on-the-job training)
