Program Overview

Chabot College provides hands-on, career-focused training for students pursuing skilled trades careers. The Electrical Technology program prepares students for electrician roles, offering instruction in electrical wiring, system design, motor controls, and safety procedures. The Welding Technology program trains students in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding as well as blueprint reading and metal fabrication techniques. The Automotive Technology program focuses on diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle systems, while the HVAC program teaches the fundamentals of installing and servicing residential and commercial heating and cooling systems.
