Job Description
PACK Power LLC is hiring Apprentices in Paris, Texas to support substation and energy infrastructure construction projects. This role is an entry-level opportunity to work alongside experienced craft workers on active job sites, assisting with physical labor, equipment setup, and construction tasks across electrical and mechanical systems.
Apprentices play a key role in maintaining safe, efficient job sites while gaining hands-on experience in substation construction, concrete work, and basic electrical installation. This position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in the energy and power industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist crews with general construction labor on substation and energy projects
- Signal equipment operators during lifting, positioning, and material movement
- Perform grading, leveling, and site preparation using hand tools
- Support concrete work including pouring, smoothing, and finishing
- Assemble and install structural and mechanical components
- Grind, sand, and prepare surfaces such as steel and concrete
- Assist with conduit installation, grounding systems, and basic electrical work
- Use tools for tasks such as bolting, cutting, demolition, and cleanup
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized job site

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 0–12 months of construction or related experience
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors
- Basic math skills and ability to follow instructions
- Willingness to learn construction and electrical systems
- Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
Schedule & Work Environment
- Outdoor construction work in varying weather conditions
- Physically demanding tasks including lifting, digging, and equipment use
- Travel to different job sites may be required, sometimes on short notice
- Work on energy infrastructure projects including substations and transmission systems
