Program Information

The HVACR Apprenticeship Program in New Jersey trains individuals to become expert HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) technicians. Apprentices learn to install, maintain, and repair heating and cooling systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The program covers topics such as system design, refrigeration techniques, troubleshooting, and the use of specialized tools and equipment. Safety and energy efficiency are key components of the training.

Graduates of the program are prepared to work on a variety of HVAC systems, from residential air conditioning units to large commercial heating systems.

4 years (includes 8,000 hours of on-the-job training)
