Program Information
Laborers Local 107 offers an intensive apprenticeship program that prepares individuals for diverse work in the construction industry, including building, highway, utility, demolition, and environmental restoration projects. Apprentices are trained in essential jobsite skills such as concrete placement, pipe laying, scaffolding, trenching, and operating small machinery. The program also covers workplace safety, blueprint reading, and environmental remediation techniques.
Laborers are the backbone of the construction industry, and this program provides an opportunity to build a career in a trade with high earning potential and excellent benefits. Apprentices gain real-world experience working alongside experienced union laborers on major Oklahoma projects, including bridges, highways, and commercial construction sites.
Program Length
Two-year program combining 4,000 hours of on-the-job training with 300 hours of classroom education. Training covers both theoretical and practical instruction at union-approved facilities in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.

Program Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid ID and reliable transportation
- Physically capable of heavy manual labor
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
Compensation & Benefits
Apprentices start at approximately 90% of journeyman wages, with full health, pension, and annuity benefits. Participants enjoy paid training with no tuition costs, along with access to advancement opportunities and ongoing skills development courses.
