Program Information
Mid-Plains Community College offers a variety of technical trade-education programs across its campuses in North Platte, McCook, Broken Bow, Imperial, Ogallala and Valentine. Key trade pathways include Diesel Technology, Electrical Technology, Welding Technology, Ag-Equipment Service and Precision Machining. The Diesel Technology program covers heavy-duty engines, hydraulics, and transport systems. Hands-On Training

- Agricultural equipment service: on-farm diagnostics and repair

- Basic math, reading and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to meet physical demands of technical trade work
