Program Information
The Operating Engineers Local 150 apprenticeship program trains individuals to operate and maintain heavy equipment, such as cranes, bulldozers, and excavators. The program combines classroom instruction with on-the-job training to develop skills in equipment operation, safety protocols, and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Apprentices gain experience working on large-scale construction projects, preparing them for roles in infrastructure development and commercial construction. The program also includes advanced courses on GPS-guided machinery and automated systems.
