Program Information
Residential Construction Workforce Partnership (RCWP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing tuition-free training programs in residential construction trades. Their mission is to recruit and train individuals, particularly from diverse populations, for careers in the shelter industry, thereby addressing workforce needs in Rhode Island’s construction sector.

Program Length

For instance, the Carpentry Pre-Apprentice Training Program and the Architectural Millwork Woodworker Pre-Apprentice Training Program are designed to be completed in a few weeks, providing intensive, focused instruction to prepare participants for immediate employment opportunities.
Certifications & Career Opportunities
Upon completion of the training programs, participants receive certifications that enhance their employability in the construction industry. RCWP also offers job placement assistance through their online job board, connecting graduates with potential employers in Rhode Island and neighboring states.
Program Requirements
