Program Information

Advanced Electrical Training Focus

This apprenticeship emphasizes higher-level electrical work, including conduit bending, branch circuit installation, panel wiring, electrical termination, and system testing. Apprentices regularly interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure precise execution of electrical layouts in accordance with NEC requirements.

Training also includes experience with low-voltage systems, electrical diagnostics, and the use of testing equipment such as ohmmeters and multimeters to verify circuit integrity.

Hands-On Responsibilities

Apprentices assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across commercial and industrial construction sites. Responsibilities include pulling cable, bending and installing conduit, wiring panels and devices, and supporting electrical system commissioning and testing.

Apprentices may also assist with framing carpentry tasks related to electrical infrastructure and collaborate with other trades to meet project timelines.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position working in active construction environments. Apprentices must be comfortable working at heights, around energized equipment, and in varying jobsite conditions while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
