- Algebra verification: completion of at least one year of algebra, geometry, or higher-level math with a “C” or better (or equivalent college-level or online algebra course).
Compensation & Benefits
Apprentices earn a percentage of the journey-level wage that increases annually — starting at 45% the first year, 55% the second year, 65% the third year, 70% the fourth year, and 75% the fifth year. The average skilled wage rate for electricians in Wisconsin is approximately $38.42 per hour, plus benefits such as healthcare and retirement.
