Job Description

Caliber Collision is hiring a Body Technician Apprentice through its Technician Apprentice Program (TAP) in Los Angeles, CA. This is a paid, hands-on training program designed for individuals looking to start a career in automotive collision repair. Apprentices work under experienced technicians to learn how to repair damaged vehicles and restore them to pre-accident condition using industry-standard tools and techniques.

No prior experience is required. Apprentices are trained from the ground up, learning how to read repair estimates, identify structural and cosmetic damage, and complete repairs with a focus on safety, precision, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in repairing vehicles using approved collision repair methods
  • Learn to assess vehicle damage and follow repair plans
  • Work under the guidance of a mentor technician
  • Read and interpret repair estimates and job orders
  • Perform body work, sanding, and preparation tasks
  • Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
