Program Information

City College’s Welding and Metal Fabrication program provides students with advanced training in metalworking, welding, and fabrication processes. The curriculum includes MIG, TIG, stick welding, and plasma cutting, along with blueprint reading and industry safety standards. Students also explore career opportunities in structural welding, pipeline work, and custom fabrication. Graduates are prepared to work in various industries, from manufacturing to construction.

Program Length

One-year Certificate or two-year Associate of Applied Science (AAS).

Program Requirements

Enrollment requires a high school diploma or GED. Personal welding equipment, including helmets and gloves, must be purchased.
