Program Information

LIUNA Training of Michigan (LTM) is a non-profit training facility jointly administered by management and union labor, dedicated to developing safe, skilled, and productive Construction Craft Laborers. LTM offers a variety of training programs that combine classroom instruction with hands-on experience, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and student-centered learning processes.

Program Length

The duration of each program varies depending on the specific course. For example:

  • Asbestos Awareness: 2 hours
  • Hazardous Waste Worker: 40 hours
  • Blueprint Reading & Measuring Tools: 40 hours
  • OSHA 10 – Construction: 16 hours
  • Directional Drill Worker (HDD): 24 hours

Certifications & Career Opportunities

Graduates of LTM’s programs receive certifications pertinent to their training, enhancing employability in various sectors of the construction industry. Certifications include OSHA credentials, environmental safety certificates, and equipment-specific qualifications.

Program Requirements

  • Membership with LIUNA (Laborers’ International Union of North America)

Financial Aid & Support Services
