Job Description
Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC) is seeking a Diesel Service Apprentice / Mechanic to join its Kenworth dealership location in Greeley, Colorado. This position is designed as the first stage of a long-term career path toward becoming a full Service Technician. The Diesel Service Apprentice / Mechanic role focuses on light maintenance and repair work performed under close supervision. Apprentices gain exposure to real-world service operations while supporting experienced technicians in maintaining and repairing heavy-duty trucks. This position offers a strong foundation in preventive maintenance, inspections, and basic electrical repairs, while gradually developing the skills required to advance into more complex diagnostic and repair responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance services on heavy-duty trucks under supervision
- Assist with pre-delivery inspections to ensure vehicles meet quality and safety standards
- Complete light electrical repairs and basic service tasks as assigned
- Support Service Technicians during heavy-duty truck repair work
- Attend training sessions to build technical knowledge and hands-on skills
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Properly use and care for company tools and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures in a safety-sensitive work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
