Job Description
William Perotti & Sons Inc., a family-owned plumbing and heating contractor with over 100 years of service in East Canaan, Connecticut, is hiring Plumbing Apprentices for immediate placement. This is a full-time, hands-on opportunity to enter a formal apprenticeship program without the typical wait times.
Apprentices work alongside experienced plumbers on residential and light commercial projects, learning the fundamentals of plumbing systems, installation, maintenance, and repair. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a long-term career in the trades with a stable, established company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with installation and repair of plumbing and heating systems
- Learn pipefitting, water supply, and drainage system layouts
- Support service calls and new installation projects
- Handle tools, materials, and jobsite preparation tasks
- Follow safety procedures and jobsite standards
- Work under supervision while building trade skills and experience
