Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic testing on diesel engines and related systems and accurately interpret results
  • Assist with mechanical and electrical repairs under the guidance of experienced technicians
  • Develop repair plans and communicate findings with Service Advisors
  • Safely and efficiently complete repairs to meet service standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Recommend additional maintenance or repair services during inspection reviews
  • Follow all safety protocols to protect customers, coworkers, and equipment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
  • $2,500 bonus after 6 months and an additional $2,500 bonus after 1 year

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Graduate of an approved trade or technical school OR prior mechanical experience
  • Strong interest in diesel mechanics and willingness to continue learning
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Comfortable working flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Ability to meet physical job demands with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Willingness to invest in personal tools

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full-time and part-time positions available
  • Work performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Exposure to mechanical equipment, grease, oil, fumes, vibration, and noise
  • Physical duties include standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in confined spaces
