Program Overview

The Florida Heating and Air Conditioning Apprenticeship Program prepares individuals to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Apprentices receive comprehensive classroom and on-the-job training covering all aspects of HVAC service, from residential air conditioning units to large-scale commercial systems.

Training includes diagnostics, refrigerant handling, system installation, ductwork fabrication, and electrical components. Apprentices also learn to implement energy-efficient and environmentally responsible practices, preparing them for work in both traditional and renewable energy HVAC systems.

Hands-On Training

Apprentices gain practical, real-world experience under the supervision of certified HVAC professionals, including:
