Program Overview
The Marty’s Maintenance Apprentice Plumber Program provides full-time, paid training for individuals interested in building a career in plumbing. Apprentices work under the supervision of experienced plumbers across a variety of residential and commercial job sites, gaining hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and repair tasks. The position also includes opportunities to work from the service truck, perform material deliveries, and learn all aspects of plumbing operations.
This program is designed for motivated individuals who are ready to learn the trade, follow safety standards, and develop the technical skills needed to advance toward journeyman plumber certification in Colorado.
Hands-On Training
Apprentices will gain field experience in the following areas:
- Assisting journeyman plumbers and senior technicians on job sites.
- Learning proper installation and repair techniques for plumbing systems.
- Maintaining truck organization and stocking tools, materials, and supplies.
- Performing material runs and keeping accurate delivery records.
- Adhering to company and industry safety standards on every job.
Certification & Licensing Prep
- Training hours may apply toward Colorado state journeyman plumber licensing requirements.
- Program includes guidance on registering for or completing a recognized plumbing apprenticeship program.
