Program Information

Superior Plumbing and Drain offers a hands-on, entry-level plumbing apprenticeship designed for individuals who want to begin a long-term career in the plumbing industry. This full-time program requires no prior plumbing experience, making it an excellent opportunity for motivated candidates who are ready to learn a skilled trade. Apprentices work directly alongside licensed plumbers on both residential and commercial projects, gaining exposure to a wide variety of plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.

Apprentices will assist with pipe installation, fixture replacement, drain systems, and general plumbing service. Training includes proper use of hand tools and power tools, material handling, pipe fitting, and basic welding techniques used in construction plumbing. Apprentices also participate in field service operations, learning how to diagnose minor issues, prepare work areas, follow job plans, and support the lead plumber throughout each stage of a project.

A major focus of the apprenticeship is job site safety and compliance. Apprentices are trained to follow OSHA-aligned safety protocols, maintain clean workspaces, and operate tools in accordance with workplace safety standards. As part of the construction plumbing process, apprentices learn to read basic job instructions, coordinate with team members, and adapt to the fast-paced nature of service and construction environments.
